DESTRUCTION: KNAC.COM Interview Rescheduled For This Weekend

January 22, 2007

Long-running German thrashers DESTRUCTION, who had been booked to appear on KNAC.COM's "Manic Metal" program as the special guests of its host Renee on Sunday, January 21, were forced to postpone the interview until next week due to the cancellation of one of the band's flights from Seattle (where they just played the Metal Festival IV at the Showbox the night before) and the postponement of a second flight afterwards. The band has rescheduled the interview for next week (Sunday, January 28) between 1 and 3 p.m. PST.

A brand new DESTRUCTION song, entitled "Deposition (Your Heads Will Roll)", is available for streaming on the band's newly launched MySpace page. The track comes off the band's forthcoming "Thrash Anthems" album, set to hit U.S. stores on January 23. Alongside 12 other remakes, "Thrash Anthems" contains two brand new songs ("Deposition (Your Heads Will Roll)" and "Profanity"). The CD was recorded at House of Music Studio in Germany) and Little Creek Studio in Switzerland with almost the same team that worked on the group's "Inventor of Evil" CD: DESTRUCTION's live sound engineers Gerd Krenz, Franky Winkelmann and GURD/POLTERGEIST mastermind VO Pulver. The tracks were mixed by one of the best metal producers in Europe — Jacob Hansen, the Danish producer and INVOCATOR singer and guitarist.

DESTRUCTION recently filmed a video for "Total Desaster", to be made available for download later in the year.
